About Our Premises

The Hair Roome before development The building that is The Hair Room has an interesting past. Derelict for some 15 years the dilapidated building was bought as a refurbishment and investment project in 2008.

Prior to this the shop had been a general store and used as a film set in the film "This Is England." When the builders moved in they found the film set still intact - they shot the scenes locked the doors and left !

Now fully refurbished the building has given the locality a great lift - no longer a place for young people to linger and get into mischief - now a place for some highlights or extensions !
